WSJ: 'The Path Forward for Honduras' by Roberto Micheletti

aux.link.: The Path Forward for Honduras - WSJ.com

"One of America’s most loyal Latin American allies—Honduras—has been in the midst of a constitutional crisis that threatens its democracy. Sadly, key undisputed facts regarding the crisis have often been ignored by America’s leaders, at least during the earliest days of the crisis.

In recent days, the rhetoric from allies of former President Manuel Zelaya has also dominated media reporting in the U.S. The worst distortion is the repetition of the false statement that Mr. Zelaya was removed from office by the military and for being a “reformer.” The truth is that he was removed by a democratically elected civilian government because the independent judicial and legislative branches of our government found that he had violated our laws and constitution.

Let’s review some fundamental facts that cannot be disputed..."

KRISTOL: Don't Wince. Fight! Dick Cheney, Most Valuable Republican

aux.link.: Don't Wince. Fight!

" "As Cheney Seizes Spotlight, Many Republicans Wince," was the front-page headline in Thursday's Washington Post. Two Republican "strategists" spoke "on the condition of anonymity in order to be candid." Profiles in courage! One of them opined that Cheney is "entirely unhelpful." The other elaborated, "Even if he's right, he's absolutely the wrong messenger.  .  .  .  We want Bush to be a distant memory in the next election."

To have such a juvenile understanding of political dynamics, you'd have to be a prominent "Republican strategist." You might actually have both the Dole and McCain campaigns under your belt. Or perhaps you were one of those who encouraged the Bush White House to assume a fetal position on most issues in its second term and not fight back against slanders or defend their people, because to do so would spotlight the "wrong" issues or people."

Gutless: Wanda Sykes' Slander Fails To 'Speak Truth To Power'

aux.link.: Big Hollywood » Blog Archive » Wanda Sykes’ Gutless Performance
"She didn’t utter a single joke about Obama’s out of control spending. Not one joke about his teleprompter. Not one joke about his visit with Chavez, his messages to Iran, his Cinco De Mayo screwup, his mastery of the Austrian language, his “world without nuclear weapons,” his spreading the wealth around, his ownership of the car companies, his tax-cheat employees.

And most of all, not a single joke about Dan Choi, the first gay Arabic linguist fired by Barack Obama under the military’s “don’t ask, don’t tell” policy. Not a single joke about Obama’s interracially married parents and his refusal to stump for homosexual marriage. Sykes pledged to “get in their face” about gay marriage, but refused to get in the face of the most powerful man on earth about it. Instead, she chose to go after Rush Limbaugh and oxycontin - a choice for which she will surely be praised by the leftist media."

On World Stage, Obama Uses Podium To Express Regret

aux.link.: On World Stage, Obama Uses Podium to Express Regret - FOXNews.com

My turn this term: What an embarassment our President is! Unacceptable. Stand up for us! Be proud of America's accomplishments! The world's sole superpower, greatest supporter of charity, freedom and democracy - which has risen from nothing in less than 250 years - and whose President is seen as the leader of the free world, should not be bowing down and apologizing for any mistakes we've made along the way.

Blah blah blah? You're right- because that's common sense. Most others around the world even accept and understand this with at least some degree of respect. Our own POTUS does not. Other heads of state can't believe his remarks and are laughing on the inside at him, and us for being foolish enough to have elected such a noob. Going forward, it's all about Obama 'repairing our image' and 'remaking America'. We as citizens shudder at the thought. Except the Obamabots still lusting after his image, still too incompetent to realize they've been tricked into bad policies for America by a smooth talker with a teleprompter.

Amusement: Local Dallas Writers Describe Life With Bushes

aux.link.: D Magazine : President George W. Bush Comes Home (Yo, Dubya)

Four good articles describing the Bushes' impact on China and India (foreign policy initiatives over the long haul), real estate, tips, and everyone's fantasy of becoming BFFs with them.

Mine? Sure- I want to work (hell, volunteer) at Dubya's forthcoming freedom institute, or maybe the Library. I'm an old Midland boy, afterall, who vigorously shook his hand at a Texas governor campaign stop in the mid-90s. My Dad has a few friends of friends. I could work my way into that circle eventually.

UPDATE: David Feherty forced to apologize to Queen Bitch Pelosi and Dingy Harry Reid? Don't play game with them, neighbor! That was a great joke, and hardly offensive at all compared to what liberals are trying to cover up after Wanda Sykes' abhorrent attempts at comedy last Saturday.

So Help Us God... WTF Was That?

aux.link.: Obama, Chief Justice Roberts Stumble in Recitation of Presidential Oath

The swearing in began simply enough as Roberts started reciting the oath Obama was to repeat, a few words at a time.

"I, Barack Hussein Obama," began Roberts.

"I, Barack," said Obama, and before he could continue, Roberts said, "do solemnly swear."

Obama: "I, Barack Hussein Obama, do solemnly swear"

Roberts: "That I will execute the office of president to the United States faithfully..."

Obama: "that I will execute..."

Roberts: "faithfully execute the office of president of the United States..."

Obama: "The office of president of the United States faithfully..."

At that point, Roberts got back on course, leading as Obama followed with "and will, to the best of my ability, preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States."

"So help you God?" asked Roberts.

"So help me God."

Something Else For Al Gore To Worry About

aux.link.: American Thinker Blog: Something else for Al Gore to worry about

"I don't know if anyone else has noticed, but I have detected a new crisis that I have named "the daylight change crisis". I first noticed it sometime around the end of June this year. I started paying attention and created computer models and sure enough I was right! We are losing daylight at an astonishing rate. Each day we are losing approximately 2 minutes of day light and my computer models predict total darkness by next July. I have been able to detect this phenomenon around the entire Northern Hemisphere. And here is the scary part: the day light appears to be leaking to the Southern Hemisphere.

I thought I should bring it to the attention of great scientists like Al Gore so he can help solve this new crisis."

Ok, so maybe CNN still has someone with credibility after Glenn Beck left. The underlying fact and premise of the 'nonbelievers' is starting to gain some market share, and in relation, I think Rush Limbaugh pinned that down nicely on his show Friday:

Bush Wants History To Show Him As A Liberator

aux.link.: Bush wants history to see him as a liberator of millions

"George W. Bush hopes history will see him as a president who liberated millions of Iraqis and Afghans, who worked towards peace and who never sold his soul for political ends.

"I'd like to be a president (known) as somebody who liberated 50 million people and helped achieve peace," Bush said in excerpts of a recent interview released by the White House Friday. "I would like to be a person remembered as a person who, first and foremost, did not sell his soul in order to accommodate the political process. I came to Washington with a set of values, and I'm leaving with the same set of values." "

Global Climate Change Propaganda Failing

aux.link.: Efforts to support global climate-change falls: Poll

PARIS - There is both growing public reluctance to make personal sacrifices and a distinct lack of enthusiasm for the major international efforts now underway to battle climate change, according to findings of a poll of 12,000 citizens in 11 countries, including Canada.

Results of the poll were released this week in advance of the start of a major international conference in Poland where delegates are considering steps toward a new international climate-change treaty to replace the Kyoto Protocol, which expires in 2012.

There already are reports emerging that some countries, such as coal-dependent Poland, are pushing for special treatment to avoid making major commitments to slash carbon emissions during a global economic downturn. Less than half of those surveyed, or 47 per cent, said they were prepared to make personal lifestyle changes to reduce carbon emissions, down from 58 per cent last year.

Only 37 per cent said they were willing to spend "extra time" on the effort, an eight-point drop. And only one in five respondents - or 20 per cent - said they'd spend extra money to reduce climate change. That's down from 28 per cent a year ago.

SLAM DUNK: Sarah Palin YHPS-Approved

Damn. McCain has all but locked up the election now with this move- sheer brilliance. The conservative base is jumping, and I am finally stoked. I may even get a bumpersticker. One doesn't really comprehend the virtue in this selection fully until they read her background and see all the required tick-marks they can check off, and then watch the introductory speech she gave in Ohio last Friday which gave me goosebumps.

This 'Hail Mary pass', that some are referring to the pick as, looks to be one that will be catchable with many voters, and attractive enough for most to shut down the socialistic arrogance/mouthy ticket of Obama/Biden. The selection of right(eous)-babe Gov. Sarah Palin was just the thing to finally energize hesitant Republicans and swing voters, as well as a good chunk of change out of my and my wife's bank account to the McCain campaign this evening finally. She's just what they (and we) needed.

Miley Cyrus Brainwashed By Global Warming

aux.link.: Disney's New Hannah Montana Album Features 'Global Warming Anthem'

But that's not all... she admits it and still encourages her fans to jump on the bandwagon anyway, because it seems to her that Mother Earth is crying out for help. Thank you, careless/leftist MSM influences on impressionable children (re: financial sugardaddy ABC Networks, re: financial sugardaddydaddy Disney). There is obviously weak discussion in her mind on this, because last I saw, she still had sound judgement and just purchased an awesome new Cayenne GTS (natch, EPA 11/17mpg), not a Prius...

But she's only 15, so who could blame her? At age 15 I didn't even know the names of our atmospheric layers yet, and know Miley doesn't today either, so I certainly wouldn't have a real good farking idea what was going on. I would have shut up and spoke to my friends instead about the cute flute player I was going to try and sit next to at the marching band party at the theater that night to see Twister, and I did. Really, who can I actually blame for not questioning Miley and setting her straight while in the studio?

Answer? Billy Ray Cyrus. You country-hipster masquerading, clueless hippy pacifist!... Possibly.

C'mon, Hanna- you're off to a good start catering to the tweener demo. Avoid this slipperly slope.

aux.link.: FOXNews.com - Brooke Hogan Takes Dig at Paris Hilton

" In a posting this week, Brooke wrote that most people only vote because "it’s cool" and (like herself) have no real idea what’s going on in and around the White House.

And John McCain wasn’t the only one to take a dig at Paris Hilton; Hogan shared her thoughts on the party princess’s attempts to encourage voters.

"Only 54 percent of eligible american voters cast their ballots!!!!!! Half of them are only voting cause its 'cool' to vote for so and so...they aren't even up to date on information," Brooke wrote. "I'M personally not up to date on the facts, so I don't wanna make a stupid choice for our country. I WANT to vote but only when I know exactly whats going on. More ppl should think like that. Paris Hilton said 'yaaaay go vote cause its cool and hott!!!!' ...SHE WASN'T EVEN REGISTERED." "

AP + CBS: Global Warming To Blame For Quakes

aux.link: Today's Quakes Deadlier Than In Past, Study: Seismic Activity 5 Times More Energetic Than 20 Years Ago Because Of Global Warming - CBS News

What do they call something that catches your eye in the psychological field? The 'JND', or Just Noticeable Difference? In the margins of Fact vs. Bullshit, in this case. The 'event horizon', the 'point of no return', 'the last straw'. Regardless of how most everyone will see the epic 'discovery' that CBS News actually has the audacity to stand behind, one thing will now be clear to the average and ordinary educated citizen of the world; that environmentaljihadists are now grasping at straws and desperate to blame anything on man-made climate change, even if it has nothing to do with the atmosphere at all.

As if the cyclones, floods, and tornadoes this year weren't enough for them to lay blame on already, Dr. Tom Chalko (who holds a PhD in a totally-related field of 'Laser Holography', dabbles in holistic self-healing methods, and also thinks Earth can explode from climate change; Google him) decides to compare two similar-ish streaks from two sets of data that have nothing to do with eachother across an X and Y axis as factually-related. The Associated Press took notice. Why. Why, God, why?

I can vaguely understand daft hippies rallying behind a shaky theory with an anti-economic agenda. But this... I... I really can't believe it. This is going to do their whole movement in. Surely. The school of incompetent thought that is somehow being allowed to permeate into any level of media (which is equally guilty of aiding and abetting ignorance) and be taken seriously enough by them to broadcast to the masses must be stopped. The facts against these blatant lies against humanity need to 'out' themselves in these same media faster than gay couples to the Berkeley courthouse this week. Beyond the pale. Just apalling.

'Expelled' Asks The Root Of All Science Inquiries

aux.link: Ben Stein is EXPELLED: No Intelligence Allowed

Principally, where the hell did the cellular infrastructure of life come from? How did DNA come to be? Some Darwinists will tell you from molecules bonding and mutating on the backs of crystals, or perhaps it was all just seeded here from alien lifeforms who decided to drop-by millions of years ago. But it definitely was NOT a god. Ok, failing that, there's a better chance in a trillion-trillion that this all happened to come together one magical day and work well enough to produce you reading this... WTF?

'Expelled' exposes Darwinists for the close-minded elitest loons they are, and shows that Intelligent Design isn't mutually exclusive from 'Big Science'. They coexist and both have something to bring to the table. If you think this is a film for the Religious Right, you're only kidding yourself and missing the point you have been all the while. Ben Stein is brilliant in this piece, and has pulled off one of the most important documentaries of our time. You must see it.

Young, Stupid Liberals Think Iraq Still An Enemy

aux.link: Poll: Iran, Iraq, China Top US Enemies

Well this is pretty telling even if it's of no real surprise to you and I... excellent.

"Gallup first asked the question in early 2001, before the terrorist attacks of Sept. 11. At the time, Iraq was seen as the biggest foe, followed by China and Iran.

Iraq has remained one of the most frequently named ever since, even though Saddam Hussein was overthrown and the current Baghdad government is backed by the U.S.

Republicans are more than twice as likely as Democrats to see Iran as the top U.S. enemy, while Democrats are likelier to name Iraq. Older people and those who say they closely follow world news are less likely to cite Iraq than the younger and less informed."

'Fitna' Film Getting Banned Across The Web!

aux.link: Video: Fitna the Movie: Geert Wilders' film about the Quran (English) - Google Video

Except from Google Video, though they won't recognize it in their 'Movers and Shakers' rankings.

But even highly-credited LiveLink.com, four days early than the anticipated launch date, gives this in return:

"Following threats to our staff of a very serious nature, and some ill informed reports from certain corners of the British media that could directly lead to the harm of some of our staff, Liveleak.com has been left with no other choice but to remove Fitna from our servers. This is a sad day for freedom of speech on the net but we have to place the safety and well being of our staff above all else. We would like to thank the thousands of people, from all backgrounds and religions, who gave us their support. They realised LiveLeak.com is a vehicle for many opinions and not just for the support of one. Perhaps there is still hope that this situation may produce a discussion that could benefit and educate all of us as to how we can accept one anothers culture. We stood for what we believe in, the ability to be heard, but in the end the price was too high."
Proves the point- I hope this catches on like wildfire this weekend.

Facts Against Man-Made Warming Surface More

aux.link: Climate facts to warm to The Australian

An ABC Radio debate host in this article thinks these facts coming to light more, about temperatures cooling in the last decade (going plateau and negative since 1998) despite rising natural and man-made CO2 emissions, is "extraordinary". Indeed...

"If Marohasy is anywhere near right about the impending collapse of the global warming paradigm, life will suddenly become a whole lot more interesting. A great many founts of authority, from the Royal Society to the UN, most heads of government along with countless captains of industry, learned professors, commentators and journalists will be profoundly embarrassed. Let us hope it is a prolonged and chastening experience.

With catastrophe off the agenda, for most people the fog of millennial gloom will lift, at least until attention turns to the prospect of the next ice age. Among the better educated, the sceptical cast of mind that is the basis of empiricism will once again be back in fashion. The delusion that by recycling and catching public transport we can help save the planet will quickly come to be seen for the childish nonsense it was all along.

The poorest Indians and Chinese will be left in peace to work their way towards prosperity, without being badgered about the size of their carbon footprint, a concept that for most of us will soon be one with Nineveh and Tyre, clean forgotten in six months."

More more more more more more more.

Dutch Politician Soon To Launch Anti-Islam Film?

aux.link: A Dutch Antagonist of Islam Waits for His Premiere

"Mr. Wilders, 44, is in the news here these days for a 10-to-15-minute film he says he has made depicting the Koran as the inspiration for terrorist attacks and other violence. Having failed to persuade a single Dutch television network to broadcast the film in its entirety, he said he planned to release it on the Internet by the end of this month."
Showwww iiiiiit!!! Hype during the last year of this thing is about to drive me over the edge! If it's credible and any good, I really hope Wilders releases this soon in an easily-distributed form so it can spread as far and wide as quickly as possible. I will watch this in the YHPS control room with a Heineken mini-keg to celebrate when it debuts.

UPDATE 3/23/08: The film's website has been taken down by US host Network Solutions... boycott?

"The site formerly showed the film's title, "Fitna" ("Coming Soon"), and an image of a gilded Koran. Now it shows a note that the U.S. company, Network Solutions, is investigating whether the site violates its terms of service.

"Network Solutions has received a number of complaints regarding this site that are under investigation," the note said. The company could not immediately be reached for comment. Its terms of service contain a sweeping prohibition against objectionable material of any kind or nature."

UPDATE2: Network Solutions also hosts the English version site for Hezbollah. Boycott indeed. Found that off Digg, which had a great post from someone else regarding Fitna: "And you retards thought Scientology was a problem." Yep- this is why this film needs to come out March 31.

Hollywood's Next Superstar Whore

Only this time, she's a real one with no slander necessary. Mark my words today- record execs are trying to figure out how to contact Ashley Alexandra Dupré this week after realizing her MySpace track is no worse than anything Ashlee Simpson puts out. Someone out there somewhere is going to sign her to a label. Watch for an album and an E! True Hollywood Story special on primetime by Christmas. Of course Playboy is in there too somewhere. The Kardashian and Hilton names are so 2006- we can do much better now than the plots these monikers were built on. Because that's how American pop culture rolls, sadly.

Which brings me back to Bill Clinton- why is he not chastised off his wife's campaign stages every day? Why does anyone give any level of respect to him still? Why didn't he exile to Idaho?

A Note To Steve Jobs / Apple's Political Agenda

aux.link: YouTube - Randy Newman - Macworld Expo 2008, Apple Keynote, Part 1/3

Babbling nonsense, especially hate against America, with no tune from a crotchety, old, senile man, does not make the embarassment of his existance on stage at an electronics tradeshow 'entertainment'. WTF is Apple thinking these days? Oh, but he was conveniently playing a piano while comparing President Bush to Hitler and Stalin, so it's ok. Everyone clap along.

Is he really that extraordinary, Steve? That's frighteningly telling for an otherwise visionary man like yourself. Why couldn't you have snagged U2 to close out your keynote speech instead? You know, someone your global audience generally likes and respects? Your company may make the best consumer IT products on the market of which I am becoming more of a fan, but that doesn't keep you from being a total douchebag. I feel equal parts cutting-edge and dirty every time I pick up my iPhone now. I knew Apple was fairly 'left', but this goes beyond the pale.

Antics like this and your incessant showcasing of The New York Times in every one of your product advertisements demonstrating any Internet capabilities, zooming in on questionable articles of obvious intent, keeps me from leaving my HP Xeon workstation behind for a new Mac Pro. Wake up and realize that your target market isn't full of Paulitards and environmentaljihadists any longer. Spin your energy attempting to mislead others about global affairs into giving us a 3G iPhone already. Marketing is obviously your place in society, not politics. A global showcase of great products to attract more market share - not less - is the worst place possible to advertise your ideologies. Give it up- quick.

Wow, Randy Newman isn't black. I had no idea.

FNC Anchor Nails Guy Blocking Camera Shot

And no, I'm not talking about O'Reilly... it was Major Garrett covering the NH primary and I can't find a YouTube clip or Google mention of this anywhere!

Story goes... NYC anchor cuts to live feed of Major Garrett a little too early, cueing up for the shot. He is a couple seconds from going on what he thought was live television when a random passerby strolls past between him and the cameraman. He spontaneously combusts. "DOWN! GET DOWN!" he yells and shoves the man toward the ground as he then-quickly tries to escape the shot! Totally attacked the guy physically. One second later, Major is back upright and his famous, toothy grin is in action as he starts his segment. It's times like this where I kick myself for not having a DVR yet. Am I really the only one on the blogosphere who caught this?

Weather Channel Founder Slams 'Warming

Chalk up another big gun for our side... credit NewsBusters:

If the founder of The Weather Channel spoke out strongly against the manmade global warming myth, might media members notice? We're going to find out the answer to that question soon, for John Coleman wrote an article published at ICECAP Wednesday that should certainly garner attention from press members -- assuming journalism hasn't been completely replaced by propagandist activism, that is. Coleman marvelously began:

It is the greatest scam in history. I am amazed, appalled and highly offended by it. Global Warming; It is a SCAM. Some dastardly scientists with environmental and political motives manipulated long term scientific data to create in [sic] allusion of rapid global warming. Other scientists of the same environmental whacko type jumped into the circle to support and broaden the "research" to further enhance the totally slanted, bogus global warming claims. Their friends in government steered huge research grants their way to keep the movement going. Soon they claimed to be a consensus.

Environmental extremists, notable politicians among them, then teamed up with movie, media and other liberal, environmentalist journalists to create this wild "scientific" scenario of the civilization threatening environmental consequences from lobal Warming unless we adhere to their radical agenda. Now their ridiculous manipulated science has been accepted as fact and become a cornerstone issue for CNN, CBS, NBC, the Democratic Political Party, the Governor of California, school teachers and, in many cases, well informed but very gullible environmental conscientious citizens. Only one reporter at ABC has been allowed to counter the Global Warming frenzy with one 15 minutes documentary segment.
[...]

I have read dozens of scientific papers. I have talked with numerous scientists. I have studied. I have thought about it. I know I am correct. There is no run away
climate change. The impact of humans on climate is not catastrophic. Our planet is not in peril. I am incensed by the incredible media glamour, the politically correct silliness and rude dismissal of counter arguments by the high priest of Global Warming.

In time, a decade or two, the outrageous scam will be obvious.

DiCaprio Set To Roast In The Face Of Logic

More greatness from Dr. Patrick Moore, co-founder of Greenpeace. You might remember his excellent talking points from the BBC documentary, 'The Great Global Warming Swindle', that I posted about earlier this year.

This time, he picks apart DiCaprio's new, misleading scareflick on the environment, 'The 11th Hour'. Enjoy.

An inconvenient fact

The MSM Sucks At Real News

Screw Paris Hilton and Imus. What's the latest on the issues of huge importance like the troop surge? Democracy in Iraq? Domestic economic indicators that seem to be the best ever? Russia? Iran? North Korea? The current situation with China and Taiwan? FNC is no better than the entertainment channels in a lot of these cases. But that's probably why you're here on 'teh Intarweb' like I am.

This brief article wonders much of what I do every week. One of these days, somebody is going to wake up and become a multi-millionare overnight who starts a cable news network of actual, pertinent current events that matter and strays from nothing less. One would hope, at least.

Tense Survival: Five Days In Baghdad

In what was supposed to be a documentary covering an up-and-coming heavy metal band out of Baghdad, two reporters from VBS.tv travel from NYC to catch life in the throws of newfound freedom. Where even metal guitarists can thrash around in public performing... or can they?

Take a total of 25 minutes out of your day and watch these interesting clips on surviving a week on the streets of hell. Now.

Fooking A! I Won!

Does anybody read this commie rag anymore? What a worthless attempt for newsstand buys. Did anybody catch that the YouTube player window is a simulated mirror on the front cover in person? Like a bright, shiny thing to make you grab it? Just goes to show you that the dead-tree pubs are running out of ideas, though I appreciate the recognition. At least someone did.

Global Warming's "Irrational Hysteria"

Or, as I like to better describe it according to Senator Inhofe, "man-made global warming is the greatest hoax ever perpetrated on the American people." Undoubtedly... at least now that we know The DaVinci Code was rubbish.

What The Fuss, Mate? Couric Overrated

Call me 'out of the know', but I don't understand the hype surrounding Katie Couric's new debut. Though I wouldn't go so far as to call her a 'liberal hussy' like Maureen Dowd, she definitely but quietly leans left, and picked working for CBS over NBC. So why in the world does the POTUS, Rush Limbaugh, Cronkite and Slick Willie promote the opening festivities on her new show? This is a CBS 'News' evening program, not the State Of The Union!

The Death Of America's Superman

No, not just any 'super guy', but Superman himself. Is he still American? The directors of his latest movie would rather he not be. Observe the saddening loss:

"...in the latest film incarnation, scribes Michael Dougherty and Dan Harris sought to downplay Superman's long-standing patriot act. With one brief line uttered by actor Frank Langella, the caped superhero's mission transformed from "truth, justice and the American way" to "truth, justice and all that stuff."

"Dougherty and Harris never even considered including "the American way" in their screenplay."

" "We were always hesitant to include the term 'American way' because the meaning of that today is somewhat uncertain," Ohio native Dougherty explains. "The ideal hasn't changed. I think when people say 'American way,' they're actually talking about what the 'American way' meant back in the '40s and '50s, which was something more noble and idealistic." "

"...(using that line) would taint the meaning of what he is saying." "

"...the long-standing member of the Justice League of America seems to have traded in his allegiance to the flag for an international passport. "He's here for humanity," Dougherty says."

Superman eschews longtime patriot act
Commie bastards. Superman is ours. And this movie should be geared for America and America alone. Sure, show it elsewhere for a few extra Euros and release a Region 3 DVD later for the rest of the world, but deliberately leaving America out of Superman is just another example of political correctness gone awry. Chalk up another reason to hate Hollywood.

ABC Wants Global Warming Sob Stories

"Witnessing the impact of global warming in your life?" a new ABCNews.com article asks. "ABC News wants to hear from you."

I think I'm going to submit a picture of the cracks in my truck's dashboard as evidence since it's been sitting in the sun for months. I mean, c'mon, the sun shouldn't be having that effect on the plastic in my vehicle. Cars from the 1910s didn't have this problem! That can only mean one thing... we've gotta stop this damaging effect the sun is having. And raise awareness!

Bias Sucks: My Letter To The Telegraph

Every once in awhile, I just feel the need to contact a newspaper editor and vent. Even if I never hear back from the commie scumbag. Here was one such article title that rattled me from rubbish rag, The Telegraph in the U.K. So I decided to E-mail the editor.

Re: How the Chicks survived their scrap with Bush

Adam,
Enough with your left-wing pandering bias. The Dixie Chicks are in a popularity free-fall here in the States and aren’t surviving anything, contrary to your belief, which you’re apparently attempting to instill in your readers who don’t know otherwise. What were you implying in your title? The Chicks’ careers are over; why would any band voluntarily move their concerts away to Canada from the United States? Aren’t they supposed to source from Canada and go the other way instead once they get popular, to garner fame and fortune? Yes. But since the Chicks’ didn’t take a public relations course or seminar (something that should be mandatory for any group or person of fame upon label signing) and cannot keep their mouths shut, their route is now logistically in the opposite direction any successful music group takes. However, they are left no choice after becoming the laughing stock of our music industry. They can’t get any love in the U.S., so they actually have to retreat… to Canada, of all horrid locales. Don’t you find that amusing? Or is it just us over here, who refuse to give them airplay on the radio now?

Again I ask you; what exactly did the Chicks survive? I mean, besides over three years of death threats (so far)?

Get over yourself, correct your syntax, re-release your article, and start reporting fairly if you ever want the propaganda-riddled, rubbish rag that you contract or work for to be taken seriously over here ‘across the pond’. Titles like yours make The Telegraph’s credibility even worse than The New York Times to us.

MSM Actually Helping To Curb Immigration?

Could the mainstream media's false reporting bias on the character and general behavior of the U.S. Army abroad actually be helping us control the border?

SAN LUIS RIO COLORADO, Mexico -- The arrival of U.S. National Guard troops in Arizona has scared off illegal Mexican migrants along the border as a whole, significantly reducing crossings, according to U.S. and Mexican officials.

U.S. authorities said Monday that detentions along the U.S.-Mexico border have decreased by 21 percent, to 26,994, in the first 10 days of June, compared with 34,077 for the same period a year ago.

"Some migrants have told me they heard about the troops on television and, because the U.S. Army doesn't have a very good reputation, they prefer not to cross," Loureiro said, referring to reports of abuse in Iraq.

Troops scare would-be illegal immigrants away from border

Um... we'll accept it. If that's what it takes to help curb illegal immigration, then I'm all for it. Afterall, the truly educated folks of this country know that prisoner abuse is not a problem in our military forces (is less than 1% a problem?) and know to look past the ludicrous MSM bias.

And even if it was a problem, does it really matter when it's a terrorist who is chained up? It's not like we're running babies up flagpoles for days at a time. 'Freedom fighters' could use a few roundhouse kicks to the loins.

Movie Deemed 'Too Evangelistic' Rated PG

It's... it's just so Godly that it's not quite appropriate for General Audiences! If your kids need Parental Guidance at a movie to explain common values of Christianity, you've got problems.

OR... maybe not? Since such subject material is practically so unheard-of in Hollywood, kids won't be able to make the 'movie theater + church' connection. Perhaps it makes sense. Let's just look at it that way...

Good News Suppressed From White House

It's stuff like this that keeps your momentum of disgrace and hate going for the mainstream media. Snips...

"SAN FRANCISCO - When President Bush nominated Gen. Michael Hayden to run the CIA, the press focused on disapproving Democrats and even some Republicans who were dubious about confirmation.

A month later, when the Senate confirmed Hayden by a 78-15 vote, the story was given much less emphasis in the media, which had moved on to other stories critical of the Bush administration."

"In addition to success with his nominations, Bush also is presiding over a booming economy and is even scoring some foreign policy advances..."

"“We hear a great deal about the problems we face,” Bush aide Peter Wehner wrote in an op-ed published Monday by the Washington Post. “We hear hardly anything about encouraging developments."

"...negative press coverage have made Bush aides almost apologetic when they point out good news."

" “President Bush’s leadership is achieving a steady flow of results that do not always dominate the day’s headlines on their own but that together represent real progress for the American people,” Bartlett said."

Oh No He D'int!

First off, great article about Sen. Kennedy's son:

Treat me like I'm black, sez Teddy's son

Second of all, said son of a senator has come out to say he is "seeking treatment for painkiller addiction because he could not remember crashing his car and being driven home by police."

What, so the MSM jumps all over Rush Limbaugh (though he would be able to remember such an accident if it had happened to him... which it did not) and not this clown? At least Limbaugh doesn't run his mouth afowl with nonsense- he doesn't deserve the treatment the media gives him. That attention needs redirecting to the son of a killer immediately.

Last of all, what does a delusional idiot drive? An old Mustang with some great bumperstickers on the back, apparently.

Sin City TV Star Backs Bush

Kudos to the few Hollywood stars that come out in favor of common sense and conservative ideals. The Yuppie Horror Picture Show grants major props to Mickey Rourke and access to the short 'cool list' of folks from the left coast.

"MICKEY ROURKE has pledged his support for US President GEORGE W BUSH's controversial foreign policy in Iraq. The SIN CITY
actor, who is famed for being for being outspoken, has come forward as one of the few stars to support the war on terror. The former boxer says, "George is doing a hell of a job during very difficult times, more power to him. Screw all them people who don't like him." "

Economy Surges Forward In Q1

Since good news is no news, I'll post it instead of CNN. The economy is a robust machine, even to the point that the housing market is taking people by surprise. Retail sales aren't doing too shabby either.

But again, you'll never hear that from the MSM. Rubbish.

The Chicks Are Squeaking Too Much Again

The Dixie Chicks are at it yet again, namely (guess who?) Natalie Maines. But the other two aren't off the hook either.

"As war in Iraq loomed in 2003, Maines told the London audience: "Just so you know, we're ashamed that the President of the United States is from Texas." The remarks led to death threats and a backlash from other U.S. country stars, including a high-profile spat with Toby Keith. It also stalled what until then had been the group's smashingly successful career.

Bandmate Emily Robinson said she knew right away the remark wouldn't be taken lightly and got "hot from my head to my toes."

"It wasn't that I didn't agree with her 100 percent; it was just, 'Oh, this is going to stir something up,"' she told Time magazine.

For band member Martie Maguire, the controversy was a blessing in disguise. "I'd rather have a small following of really cool people who get it, who will grow with us as we grow and are fans for life, than people that have us in their five-disc changer with Reba McEntire and Toby Keith," Maguire said. "We don't want those kinds of fans. They limit what you can do." "

At the same time, he is eager to make the notoriously secretive administration more accessible to the press."

Your Wallet Speaks to Hollywood

Paramount officials are scurrying around this week trying to figure out why Mission Impossible III is tanking at the box office. Did they miss the little fact that their star actor is a freak with a public relations approval rating equal to that of Michael Jackson's?

"And that's the irony here: "M:I3" is a terrific action film. Director J.J. Abrams did a great job, and the entire cast from Cruise right through to the team and various supporting players do a convincing job."

Proof positive that consumers are not willing to voluntarily go pay their hard earned money to see Crazy Cruise in a new movie, paying as much as ten bucks a ticket. Would you? Bad PR is a b****.
